Donatella Salvato

My name is Donatella Salvato, I am a luthier and my workshop is in Curtarolo near Padua (Italy).
I build classical guitars inspired by the great makers of the past, and have developed my own personal project "Hommage à Daniel Friederich".
Each instrument of mine is unique, special and can be customized on request. My guitars have a warm, powerful, nuanced sound and are comfortable and easy to play.
The woods I use are naturally seasoned in my atelier and have CITES documentation.
I have received various prizes and awards at international guitar-making competitions.
I cannot even imagine a more beautiful, interesting and fulfilling job than to give wood new a life, voice and poetry by creating musical instruments.
